Water Hyssop (Bacopa monnieri)

Description: A mat-forming wetland plant, with small succulent leaves and white flowers. 

Natural Habitat:   Pond edges, shallow water, and constantly moist areas.

Planting and Care:   Plant in or near a water feature or anywhere the soil is continuously moist. In rich soil and abundant sun it will grow rapidly. 

Pros:  Attractive spreading groundcover foe edges of ponds or other water features and moist areas. Host plant for the White Peacock butterfly. Will grow in water as well as mosit ground.

Cons:  Doesn't tolerate dry soil.
